Basic data to be determined while placing an order for double-leaf gates and wickets:

mounting opening clearance,  gate (wicket) height.

Double-leaf gate maximum dimensions are 6000 x 1950 [mm] (driveway widht x door height). Its structure is made of steel sections as in sliding doors.

ATTENTION !  inside width = opening width  about 110 [mm].

Maximum dimensions of the wicket gate 1350x1950 [mm] ( opening width x wicket height)

Give gate dimensions in [mm] in the table.

Opening direction, distance between bolts (anchors)

Sliding doors may be opened onto right or left side.

ATTENTION !  Opening direction must be always determined taking into account premises view.

Mounting distance between bolts in a property sliding door is shown in Fig. 9.

ATTENTION !  In industrial doors assembling distance between bolts is constant and does not change with the driveway width. Every time with a set of bolts you get their placing diagram.

In double-leaf gates their opening direction has to be given: towards premises inside or towards its outside.    (ATTENTION !  opening fencing doors towards premises outside does not comply with the building regulations in force).

If not given otherwise, a double-leaf gate or a wicket opened towards premises inside will be made with traditional hinges, while a door opened to the street will be made with hinges in the door axle, see Fig. 11. At the client's request any gate may be made with hinges in the axle, but it must be clearly stated in notes on the order form.

For wicket, opening direction is to be determined from the following figures. Types of hinges are the same as for double-leaf gates. Unless stated otherwise, a wicket opened towards property inside will be made with traditional hinges, while
a wicket opened towards the premises outside will be made with hinges in the wicket axle.

Standard wicket equipment is a lock with a handle. It is available to have a wicket made with an electromagnetic lock (write yes in the column "control”).

For any fencing gate pay particular attention to:

  • correct execution of base of foundation ABSOLUTELY BELOW THE ZONE OF FROST PENETRATION settled for a given region (according to the Standard PN-81/B-03020),

  • assembling anchor plumbing and coaxial position,

  • placing supply and control cables according to the diagram.

This concerns also a base of foundation for a grab.

Give gate or wicket opening direction and distance between bolts in the table.

Paling

Types of paling are shown in table "Types of segments, gates, wickets paling" in part devoted to fence segments on page 4K - 8 K.

ATTENTION !  Any gate or wicket (apart from Eko gate) may be made as the structure itself prepared for the client to be filled individually in their own capacity. In gates without paling, paling elements may be fixed only by screwing to the gate leaf (elements must not be welded).

Maximum paling weight that may be applied by the client to the fencing gate structures: sliding gates (apart from EKO and industrial gates), doble-leaf gates and wicket - 20 kg per each running metre of the driveway width.

For industrial fencing gates the weight of paling may be maximum - 22 kg per each runnig metre of the driveway width.

End of paling is ( if not given otherwise):

·         In closed sections covers,

Textruta: Other endings ( description or draft in notes):

Textruta: ·         Angle sections  cut under the angle of 45O,
Textruta: ·         In closed sections  left cut, right cut (premises view) towards the premises, towards the street.

Gate paling may be a continuation of the existing fencing in the form of straight, concave or convex wave. Unless stated otherwise, we assume that the wave starts and finishes in the driveway width.

Is such a case it is indispensable to give:

  • door maximum height

  • door minimum height

  •  wave division (if they are supposed to be numerous)

  • or detailed drawing of waves in the enclosure (if the upper door edge is a curve different from a circle).

Following are the examples of drawings - doors with waves.

Examples of gates with waved paling of  are shown on fig. 14 p. 14J .

ATTENTION !  According to the Decree of Minister of Economy and Building dated on 12 December 1994 in range of technical conditions that building and their placing should comply with (Part 9 paragraph 43.I) placing on the height lower than 1800 [mm] barbed wire, smashed glass and other sharply ended objects is prohibited. In connection with this statement we do inform that gates, wickets and segments with height below 1800 mm wit filling sharply ended are destined to be built in fence systems which total height (after gate mounting, segment, wicket) cannot be lower than
1800 [mm].

On the order form You should indicate the kind of gate, wicket and segment paling (catalogue number) complying with table on the page  4K - 8 K.

Corrosion protection, powder coating

Standard corrosion protection (apart from industrial door) is hot galvanising (gates with drivewey width above 5500 [mm] are joined after galvanising).

Another corrosion protection may be phosphatising or primer coating.

A decorative coat is powder coating in colours from the RAL palette or, on client's special order, surface treatment

with spray painting. Standard colors (every in matt or flat version) RAL 9016, 9005, 8019, 8017, 8014, 8011, 7042, 6029, 5002, 3005, 3000 and also in structure matt version: RAL 9016, 9005 i 8014.

ATTENTION !  Only gates with the driveway width up to 5000 [mm] may be coated with powder paint.                          (Max. 6900x2400x600)

Give the information about surface protection different from hot galvanising in the notes as well as the information about surface painting.

Industrial gates as a standard are phosphatised and primer coated. It is available to paint them on surface using spraying in any colour of the RAL palette, double coat with acrylic paints or galvanised, it may, however, to prolong the time of the gate execution and requires each time to be agreed upon with the company.

In the table write the type of corrosion protection chosen from possible ones. If you choose powder coating, give the number of colour from the RAL palette.

Drive unit

Sliding gates Eko are offered in automatic or manual version. When You write YES in the column "drive unit" on the order form, You order automatically opened gate with a drive unit AWso 2000 in the post ( equipment: toothed bar of PCV and two double  channel transmitters) Eko gates in automatic version can be equipped optionally with outer drive unit 3900 mm, remote control  with two transmitters, conductory switch.

Sliding gates are offered in automatical or manual version. When You write Yes in the column "drive unit" on the order form. You order automatic gate with a drive unit AWso 2000 in the post (equipment: toothed bar of PCV, signaling lamp, outer antenna and two double channel transmitters) gates up to 5000 mm of driveway width or gate with outer drive unit AWso 93-02 (equipment: metal toothed bar, two double  channel transmitters) - gates above 5000 mm of driveway width.

For manual sliding gate it is possible to assemble outer drive unit AWso 93-01 or AWso 93-02 (description of the equipment is given above).
