HANDLOPOL
BR-77s roller doors in standard version are made for individual orders,
within dimensions included in
a cross-hatched field in the following drawing. These doors may be mounted
to openings with maximum dimensions 4300x4250 mm (width x height). Doors for
openings with larger dimensions can be made only upon the prior agreement.

In Fig. 2
required mounting dimensions indispensable for the correct door selection
and execution are shown.

A
doorhead is required to fix the door; the overhead is indispensable to mount
the case, minimum overhead height depends on the opening height. Required
overhead heights are given in the following table.

Minimum widths
of side space required to fix W1min and W2min
depending on the motor operator used to drive the door are given below.
As a standard,
after the door has been fully opened there is one coat section left in the
opening clearance, so the drivewey height is about 100 mm smaller (Figure
4).

Optionally, on request it is possible to make the door higher so that the
driveway clearance height be equal to the opening height.
Then the required doorhead height is as appropriate:

If you order
the higher version of the door, state "yes"
in the column "full driveway clearance". If
not filled in, it indicates the door in standard version.
AW 77 aluminum
sections are made in standard colours: RAL 5012 (blue); RAL 7040 (grey); RAL
8014 (light brown); RAL 8019 (dark brown); RAL 9010 (white).
The
case is made in standard colours: RAL 8019
(dark brown) - in the case of coats in colours RAL 8014, RAL 8019;
and RAL 9010 (white) - in the case of coats
in remaining colours. Optionally, on request upon the prior agreement, the
case may be painted in any colour from the RAL palette - state possible
requirements concerning the case colour in the notes.Guides as a standard
are painted in the door coat colour, on request they may be painted in any
colour from the RAL palette.
Give the door
coat colour in the order.
According to
the purpose doors are divided into industrial ones
(P) and used in the individual housing (G).
Doors to be used in the individual housing are constructed for up to maximum
25 openings daily. If the doors are larger and if you plan more frequent
opening, we recommend industrial doors complying to all the industrial
building regulations . Write the purpose of the door in the order.
Is there an additional entrance
The frequency
of opening the door is directly influenced by the fact whether the object is
provided with an additional entrance or not. Write
"yes" or "no" on the order form in
the column "is there an additional entrance".
Regarding exploitation, it is recommended to provide the garage with an
additional entrance. If there is not such an entrance, it is possible to
mount a crank with a hook led out outside the room (information on the crank
is given on page 6E, on the order form in the column "crank type").
Depending on
the execution, BR-77s roller doors may be fixed to the walls made of
reinforced concrete (B), brick walls
(C) or walls made of steel frames
(S). In the order give the exact data of
wall execution as well as the wall thickness. The room dedicated to the
mounting has to be completely finished (walls plastered, floor finished),
the walls cannot have the traces of defects of execution. The room has to be
dry and free from chemicals harmful for paint coats. Too much dampness in
the object may have a negative impact on the door operation and its
durability, and even lead to the door damage.
Number of glazed sections
Section in
glazed version may be used in doors type
HANDLOPOL BR-77s in order to light
better the room. These section are not provided with heat insulation.
Examples of placing section with windows are given in Fig. 5 (versions 1 and
2).

Maximum 6
sections may be used in the door coat in glazed version. For the doors with
the dimensions close to maximum ones, it is recommended to use maximum three
glazed sections and to fix them as low as possible. It is permissible to fix
maximum three sections directly one after another. State the number of
glazed sections in the order and show in the enclosed drawing at what height
from the garage floor level they are to be fixed in the door coat (example
of a drawing illustrating the way of glazed section location marking is
given below), if you do not wish glazed sections, put sign
"-" in the column.

BR-77s roll-up
doors as a standard are equipped with an electric drive with a one-phase
tubular motor operator, operated manually from the inside of the room and a
switch-off for the key fixed outside. The tubular motor operator
is not intended for continuous operation.
Motor operator construction allows for 40% effective working time counted in
the period of 10 min., i.e. this motor operator may be working for about 4
min., then there must be a break in work for about 6 min. Otherwise, a
thermal switch comes into operation and the door will be put out of action
for a dozen of minutes (till the motor operator is cold). For industrial
doors, with the heavy-duty work and in the case of a high frequency of door
opening, we offer a three-phase compact motor operator, which ensures door
correct function.
Write in the
order form in the column "motor operator":
-
SR -
to order the drive with the tubular motor operator,
-
SK -
to order the drive with the compact motor operator.
Additional
equipment of the electric drives may be remote control using transmitters
and an automatic door closing. Photocells are installed as a standard in
each case of using remote control or automatic closing, protecting from the
door closing when there is an obstacle in its clearance.
Automatic
closing causes that the door is automatically closed after a determined time
set in the controller. Write "yes" on the
order form in the column "automatic closing"
in the case of ordering a control with the automatic closing.
Specify the
number of additional transmitters (there are two in standard) in the order
when you order the remote control.
Write on which
side of the door, looking from the room inside, the supply source is (left -
L or right - P).
Information concerning the supply source position determines on which side
the motor operator driving the door is to be installed, as the
motor operator as a standard is installed on the
same side of the door where the supply source is.
With the
industrial doors it is recommended to apply the light signalling letting to
know if the door is open or closed. The signalling device sends green light
if the door is open, whereas when the door is closed or in motion the
signalling device sends red light. Write "yes"
or "no" on the order form.
Optionally, on
request it is available to install an optical safety bar. If you wish to
order the safety bar, state it in the column
"NOTES" on the order form.
As a standard
the case to which the door coat is rolled is fixed inside the room, however,
in the exceptional cases it is available to fix it outside (this solution is
not recommended). In such a case however, there is a danger of opening the
door by unauthorised people, as the access to the door construction is
significantly easier. State the place of fixing the case in the order form:
inside (W) or outside
(Z) the room. If you wish to have the case
fixed outside the room, it is indispensable to consult it in advance with
HANDLOPOL company.
In the case of
the electric control damage or supply voltage cut-off there is a possibility
to open the door manually using the device driven with a hand-crank. An
emergency drive crank may be permanently fixed at the door case
(S), or in the version with a hook
(H) put on a handle only when necessary.
Determine the crank type in the order. As a standard the crank is fixed
inside the garage, but when the garage is not provided with the additional
entrance, the crank is fixed outside, in such a case contact each time
HANDLOPOL company in order to complete the data.
Put the
possible additional requirements concerning the door execution on the order
form in the column "NOTES".

The following
drawings show the cased roller door driven with the compact motor operator
(Fig. 7) and the tubular motor operator (Fig. 8) and specifies the basic
sub-assemblies of these doors.
