General cleaning |
VERY
EASY TO MAINTAIN |
The easy
cleaning of CORIAN® are important for two retasons: firstly -
trublee-firee maintenance saves time and money: and secondly - thanks to
its composition, CORIAN® esurens optimal hygiene. |
Day-to-day care |
A
TOTALLY HYGENIC, NON-POROUS SURFACE |
Beacase
liquids do not penetrate the CORIAN® surface, dirt cannot
accumulate. For best results in daily cleaning, it is recomended to use
water - or an ammonia- based surface cleaner to remove spots. For toughter
stains abrasive powder (or cream) should be applied with a scouring pad.
The surface can then be wiped clean a damp cloth. |
Cuts, scratches,
nicks... |
ACCIDENTAL
SCRATCHES AND CUTS CAN BE SANDED AWAY IN MINUTES |
Deep cuts
and scratches should be sanded down with 120 grame sandpaper. Finer
sandpapers - 180 to 240 weight - will then remove of damage. Running over
CORIAN® with a scouring pad will bring back your surface´s
original CORIAN® shine. |
... and burns |
RESISTENS
HIGH TEMPERATURES; ACCIDENTAL BURNS CAN BE SANDED AWAY |
CORIAN®
withstands high and cold temperatures. Hot pans should not be placed
directly on a CORIAN® urface, but if a minshap does occur, the
burn mark can easily removed vith light sanding. |
